PRIME MOBILE RECORDING offers professional remote recording for live albums, concerts, audio-for-video, and broadcasting events. Our staff embodies decades of experience in the recording arts, with more than a decade of experience in the specialized field of live mobile recording.
Prime Mobile’s portable system features a STEINBERG NUENDO 3 System (Pro Tools compatible) with APOGEE AD-16X Converters, and a TASCAM X-48 Recorder for back up – each providing 48 Tracks of high resolution audio recording. In addition to live concert recording, Prime Mobile offers on-location studio sessions – recording without an audience at the client’s location of choice.

Recorders are AMD Opteron computer with Steinberg Nuendo 3 / Apogee AD-16X A/D / MOTU 2408 MK3 Interfaces and MOTU 24i/o D/A Converters, Tascam X-48 backup recorder. Mic Preamps include Aphex, API, Focusrite, Rupert Neve Designs, and Presonus, with Neve, DBX Compressors. Microphones by AKG, Audio Technica, Sennheiser, and Shure.
Various auxiliary include 48 and 24 channel mic splitters, Rosendahl word clock/video sync, Clear-Com RTS talkback, APC backup UPS for recorders, video camera/monitor to the stage. Mackie 24 and 16 Channel mixers are used for monitoring from recorders with Mackie HR24 monitors. Tascam CD recorder with FMR Audio mixdown compressor are used in making live reference cd’s of performance.
